Getting There<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Rotorua is well connected to the rest of New Zealand through a network of air and road links (such as buses and shuttles) that run frequently and connect to almost all major North Island cities.<\/p>\n

Plane<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are daily direct flights connecting Rotorua with Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown (via Christchurch). Visit http:\/\/www.rotorua-airport.co.nz\/flight-info\/airlines\/<\/a> for more information. Rotorua Airport is only 10 minutes from the city centre. Baybus<\/a> transports visitors from Rotorua Airport to central Rotorua for $2.80 one way.\u00a0Taxi fare from the airport to the Millennium Hotel is approximately $30-35.<\/p>\n

Bus<\/strong><\/p>\n

InterCity (https:\/\/www.intercity.co.nz\/)<\/a> has daily services connecting Rotorua with Auckland, Wellington and other North Island centres, including Tauranga, Hamilton, Taupo, Whakatane, Gisborne, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Napier, Hastings and Wanganui.<\/p>\n
